After spending many years trialing various peat reduced and peat replacement growing mediums 2 years ago Enterprise Plants went 'peat free' by using Hydroponic plant displays. Hydroculture is growing plants in gravel and adding the required nutrients, this type of growing is also know as Aquaculture and is used widely within commercial nurseries growing Tomatoes and other crops. The root ball sizes vary little in size between small underplants and 9 metre mature Ficus which means there is more flexibility on container sizes for the larger projects.
